All partners of the PETRA Project developed the scheduled workshop on the development of Research capacities. All partners have already begun the acquisition process for getting the hardware necessary for the establishment of the Teaching and Learning centers.

 

The activities included a management meeting, a study program and an international seminar within the HEAd 2018 conference for Azerbaijan. The study program included the following topics:

Workshop and Training Seminar on “Developing Research Capacities and Research Competences”

From March 5-9, 2018, a total of 43 representatives from all PETRA partners met at the UAS BFI Vienna for the fourth project meeting. The UAS BFI Vienna was delighted to welcome assistant rectors, deans, directors of research & development, researchers, directors of innovation offices, department heads and directors of international offices from the partner organizations in Vienna.

In the first part of the meeting (Monday & Tuesday), participants attended 11 presentations, which dealt with the development of R&D capacities from different perspectives. The presentations covered the following topics:

• Situation and development of R&D at universities in Azerbaijan and in Austria
• Future Challenges of PhD Training in Azerbaijan
• Examples from collaborative R&D projects at the UAS BFI Vienna
• Funding schemes and opportunities (Horizon 2020, R&D funding in Austria)
• Open Access Policy
• Quality Assurance in Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences
• Project management of R&D projects

These presentations triggered animated discussions and many ideas for the second part of the meeting (Wednesday & Thursday). Here, the representatives of Azerbaijani universities and of the Ministry of Education set up work groups assisted by EU partners, where they assessed the current situation in their home universities, derived development strategies and and designed plans how to develop further research capacities and competences at their universities.

The results showed high level of commitment and it was especially interesting to see how different strategies oriented towards the particular situations and needs of each university were developed in the work groups.

Summarizing the results on the last day (Friday) made clear that the meeting was very prolific and each university could develop next steps in a concrete way.

“Tədqiqat qabiliyyətlərinin və tədqiqat səlahiyyətlərinin inkişaf etdirilməsi” mövzusunda seminar və təlim seminarları

5-9 mart 2018-ci il tarixləri arasında bütün PETRA tərəfdaşlarının 43 nümayəndəsi dördüncü layihə toplantısı üçün UAS BFI Vyanada görüşdü. UAS BFI Vyana Vyana tərəfdaş təşkilatlarından köməkçi rektorlar, dekanlar, tədqiqat və inkişaf direktorları, tədqiqatçılar, innovasiya ofislərinin direktorları, şöbə müdirləri və beynəlxalq ofislərin direktorları qarşıladılar.

Yığıncağın birinci hissəsində (Bazar ertəsi və Çərşənbə axşamı) iştirakçılar, müxtəlif perspektivlərdən AR-GE qabiliyyətlərinin inkişafı ilə məşğul olan 11 təqdimata qatıldılar. Təqdimatlarda aşağıdakı mövzular müzakirə edildi:

• Azərbaycanda və Avstriyadakı universitetlərdə AR-GE vəziyyəti və inkişafı
• Azərbaycanda doktorantura təhsili üzrə gələcək problemlər
• UAS BFI Vyana’da birgə Ar-Ge layihələrindən nümunələr
• Maliyyələşdirmə sxemləri və imkanları (Horizon 2020, Avstriyada R & D maliyyələşdirilməsi)
• Açıq Giriş Siyasəti
• Avstriya Tətbiqi Elmlər Universitetlərində Keyfiyyətin Təminatı
• AR-GE layihələrinin layihələrin idarə olunması

Bu təqdimatlar iclasın ikinci hissəsi (Çərşənbə və Cümə axşamı) üçün animasiya müzakirələri və bir çox ideyaya səbəb oldu. Burada Azərbaycan universitetlərinin nümayəndələri və Təhsil Nazirliyi Avropa İttifaqı tərəfdaşları tərəfindən dəstəklənən iş qruplarını yaratdılar. Onlar burada evdə mövcud olan vəziyyəti qiymətləndirib, inkişaf strategiyalarını hazırladılar və planlaşdırdıqları tədqiqat imkanları və bacarıqlarının inkişaf etdirilməsi üçün planlar hazırladılar. universitetlər.

Nəticələr yüksək səviyyədə öhdəlik nümayiş etdirdi və iş qruplarında hər bir universitetin xüsusi vəziyyətlərinə və ehtiyaclarına yönəldilmiş müxtəlif strategiyaların necə inkişaf etdiyini görmək maraqlı idi.

Son gündə (Cümə) nəticələri yekunlaşdırdıqca toplantı çox məhsuldar idi və hər bir universitet növbəti addımları konkret bir şəkildə inkişaf etdirə bildi.
